It was a GOOD ride! Can't stop grinning!

The picture is of the truck I will be training in owned by my trainer Daniel. My first run is from Springfield, MO to Joplin, MO and back. Just a short run to get an idea of what life on the road will be like. Can't wait!

I arrived at Prime after traveling 19 hours, on Monday the 7th of October. The day was spent filling out paperwork and orientation. Tuesday, since I already had taken my CDL tests and have my permit, I got to use the simulators. Had a bit of trouble with double clutching, but they said once I got in the truck I would be able to feel the clutch and get the hang of it. I am used to driving a standard so I was pretty sure this would not be a problem for me...

After doing some web research, making phone calls, talking to recruiters, I finally decided to go with Prime, Inc. They are located in Springfield, MO and have provided paid transporation from home to Springfield. I leave today.
