Well we were all at the college at 6am. All that is except Dan and the minibus who has taken a magical mystery tour around Mendip due to one of those extremely untimely road closures. The next thing was for Dan to play Spider-Man clambering around on the roof of the bus stowing some of the huge amount of luggage we appear to be taking - more of that to come but suffice it to say most of us are leaving at least one case behind. The students piled aboard and I went to take my seat only to discover it was occupied by a keen young man who was packed and ready to join a college trip to China!
In the aftermath of Storm Brian the sun is rising on a beautiful day as we are rattling down the M5 on the first leg of our adventures.
