Took a drive up Mt Wellington today. A bit of a mission to get up there but wow the view was spectacular! The air temp up there is always a min difference of 8 degrees colder. Which I can believe as I froze with 2 jumpers on!

Today we went into the City of Hobart, did a walk to the wharf area and did some shopping. After lunch we went out to Mona. The Museum had some lovely sights and some very strange and disturbing ones also. The girls where very well behaved and loved looking at the art. We had afternoon tea over looking the bay and it was lovely lazing in the bean cushions they had on the lawn.

Arrived in Cambridge where we will base ourselves for 5nights. A short ten minute drive into Hobart and surrounded by other towns in short driving distances. Sun is trying very hard to make an appearance here unfortunately the shorts and T-shirt weather we have left at Coles bay.

Today we took a drive to Swansea and did some grocery shopping and had lunch at the horny crab. And we needed to empty our toilet lol as your unable to empty black water anywhere in Coles bay & the closet dump point was Swansea. What a lovely friendly town. At IGA one person scanned our items, another packed them and then someone helped us carry them to car! Wow! Then, when we got petrol the shop assistant came out and did it! Old fashioned town with a friend...

Today we celebrated Dans 30th birthday. Which started at 6am due ti daylight savings and girls thinking its later. They serenaded their daddy with happy birthday and gave him his pressies. We had a awesome seafood lunch at Freycinet lodge bistro over looking the beautiful bay. Then home for cake! Then we went fishing later in the arvo where I finally caught my first fish YAY!
