Ok we are now in New Zealand after a long flight throught the night which was 12 hours but as we crossed the Date line time and days disapeared and it all went crazy so it ended up being 4 in the morning the day after!! if that makes sense!!!

we sat in the Airport fro a few hours as there was not point heading into Auckland as we did not ahve anywhere to stay and nothing was open! we court the airbus into Auckland and ti magically dropped us off at our Hostel so we stored our bags and went on a Walk to the Auckland musuem ( we are on over tired at this point as we had not slept very well on the plane but decideed to keep going other wise we would flop and the jet lagg would be worse!) the museum was really interesting!

on the way back we stoped in the Park and had the biggest muffin i have ever seen it was yummmy! we then went back to the hostel and spent the afternoon sorting out things and posting stuff home and found a super market for food! i past out at like 6 as i was extremly tired, dale was not long behind me

After looking into the Lonely planet we decided that we would catch a ferry across to Rangitoto Island and climb the Volcano! it was a hour walk to the top which was very pleasent if a bit hardcore at points! the views over to Auckland were beauful! we hat a picnic at the top of the Volcano before retuning to the ferry! the ferry stopped at an island called Devonport so we got of there and walked to "Cheltenahm Bay" heeehee it was a beautiful beach ( wish it was in Cheltenham) then returned on the Ferry to Auckland! cooked our own dinner and had an early night as we were starting the Kiwi experinece in the morning!

The bus picked us up at 7.10 and we headed North to Bay of islands a 3 hour journey! the bus is brill on the journey you can book the activiy you want to do when you get there, your accom and your next bus! they take care of everything!

we went on the dolphin boat trip we saw so many dolphins it was amazing, we were hoping to go swimming with them but there was a baby one so we were not able to! but getting to seem them was so exciting it did nto really matter!

this evening we are having a BBQ at the Hostel which should be fun!
