...It's raining, it's raining... and raining, and raining, and raining... Trust me to get caught up in the largest storm to be recorded in Rainbow Beach's history. Even the Aussies were calling it an act of God! I arrived in Rainbow Beach after a missionous 16 hour journey on the Greyhound and was welcomed by gorgeous sunshine. I was so happy as it was such a good sign for my forthcoming Fraser Island tour where I'd be camping on the magnificent nature reserve....

...Whitsundays Sailing Trip... Just returned from my Whitsundays trip and it was a very memorable experience. ...Down in depths with a ship wreck... In the ocean near Alva Beach is the Yongala Wreck and the dives I did there were absolutely amazing, the whole entire experience was just one major exaggeration. There is an unbelievably high concentration of marine life around the wreck due to there being no islands or reef for miles, you almost get overwhelmed by the amount of fishes and life that congregate there. Plus its not only the amount of fish that are there but...

...Forts Walk. Wild Koalas. Sea Kayaking. Bungalow Bay Koala Village Sanctuary... Magnetic Island was lovely with wonderful scenery, beautiful beaches and lots of wildlife. I spent my time going on lots of walks to the various beaches and ventured up to the old Forts on the Island. The Forts walk was ace as I got to see my first wild Koala Bear and had some amazing views of the Island at the top. Imagining what it was like to be up in the Forts during World War ...
