Day off riding today to visit La Coupole a WW2 site that could have changed the outcome of the war and Europe. Built by the German army in 1943-1944 to launch V2 rockets to target London. When the allies bombed the site they reckon they were less than 3 months from launching their first rocket. Awoke at Maggie's after a great family gathering and BBQ 15 of us two fave cousins. Last minute packing shed a few more items, mended klim riding gloves, big cooked brekky, coffee, everyone saw me off. Sat nav allowed plenty of time 3 hours. Mike told me a quicker route. Day 2 TET France If day 1 was hard 2 was well epic. Camp Site was noisy and full of obese poms who drove a mere 300 metres to pick up their bread from the camp site shop. Had my brekky in the camp site - 2 coffees a French stick

Interesting flight with an hour on runway in Perth due to inclement weather the wind & standing water in the runway was outside the safe operating parameters if the aircraft according to the American Pilot. Short time Dubai - in search of a decent coffee queues everywhere. No drone part for sale. Arrived through customs etc record time 15 mins out by 12.30 UK time.
