On Wednesday am i got the 8am bus to Byron Bay, took about 1hr 45 mins! Checked into Byron Bay Beechouse, where i was in a dorm of 3. Went for a wander down to the beach and around town and sunbathed later in day, followed by a walk along the beach to the lookout, where i watched people surfing and also dolphins swimming very close by, with baby dolphins too, amazing! Back In Brisbane now.....out of the bunk beds! On saturday as it rained a bit and was quite cloudy we didnt go out on the boat but we visited sanctuary cove instead, which is like a retiurement village for the rich and a big tourist spot too!! Its like a little village, a very nice one too! Lots of little boutique shops and lots of mutton dressed as lamb! Some massive boats in the marina, quite spectacular!! would like to meet the owners! Up at 5am to pouring rain and as left Sarah and Adams house, we were watched by 2 kangeroos from forest next door, i couldnt believe it, they were metres from us in the car, was unbelievable, keep thinking was it real! Finally arrived in Melbourne, after a long wait in bangkok! Found the skybus that takes you to the city centre, so got there, then got a tram to meet Kylie who i am staying with at her work!
