After streams of tears leaving the farm in south Australia we were ready for some fun to cheer ourselves up. So we headed for a crazy 5 days in Sydney seeing friends and relatives everyday. It was very strange being amongst city life after such a peaceful time on the farm (peaceful for us, maybe not for Jason and Monika!)

15 hours of flying and we made it safely (though not very comfortably) to Johannesburg for a weekend with Ross' cousins. We managed to avoid being hi-jacked thankfully and had a wonderful time visiting the various bars in the area and even sqeezing a trip to a Lion Park and aCircus inbetween pints!!

After then was Cape Town for two weeks - taking very seriously our role as Aunt and Uncle to little Ethan. We just loved spending time with him and making him giggle - but passing him back to Mummy and Daddy when the tears came!!! Cape Town is as beautiful as ever with a great buzz around the place in the build up to the world cup - come on England!!!

Now we are in George, Ross' home town on the Garden Route taking relaxing time out with the family and hopefully helping out on various bits and pieces here - avoiding talk at all costs of our imminent return back to Blighty....
