Our last day in Cairns and what a great day!

We left Coconut Resort after a great stay and decided to spend our last day in Cairns CBD. The weather was amazing and it was great walking around a town we have become very familiar with. We can see why people are tempted to move to Far North Queensland. However we are also keen to head home and back to normal life.

We were so lucky as our trip was timed with the indigenous festival in Cairns. Aborigines, Torres Strait Islanders as well as Papua New Guinea peoples spend this weekend in Cairns sharing their individual cultures and showing their artwork. It was fantastic and we loved it.

This morning we also got to catch up with Isabelle's dad again who lives up in Cairns.

After lunch we returned and said farewell to Master Roshi our campervan who has been a loyal and reliable travel companion.
