Its been a few days since I posted anything on the blog so I am updating it now.After the awful weather at Hervey Bay we headed for Rockhampton and just spent the night there before hitting the road again for Mackay.

We decided to ring up and book a site on Tuesday morning and luckily we did as we got the last site here,I tried a few other parks in Mackay and they were all booked out.Luckily we are booked in at Airlie Beach for 5 night after this,and by just a sheer stroke of luck we rang Horeshoe Bay caravan park this morning and managed to get in there for 10 nights, so we are sorted till the end of this month.

The weather is finally beautiful, blue skies and about 23degrees,we had a lovely walk along the beach this morning then spent a few hours there this afternoon.
