We arrived in Port augusta yesterday after travelling 400 kms so we decided to stay for a day and get supplies that will last us a few days or at least until we get to Alice Springs. The caravan park here is like a giant sardine tin,the vans all start arriving from about 2.00pm until 6.00pm and it goes from empty to full in that time.They park you vertically which is really strange as you barely have room to put your awning out.It is ok for a day or two but I...

Renmark is a beautiful spot but cold,so we are going to Port Augusta tommorrow 400km away.Hopefully it will be a bit warmer,if not we are going to keep driving till it gets a bit hotter (so sick of this cold weather) could be in Darwin by the weekend!!!!! Will keep you informed.

We are finally underway,have made our first stop at Lake Charm.Staying at Ken and Chick's holiday house on the banks of lake Charm,(lovely) then heading off tommorrow for Renmark for a few days.

Well it is only 1 week to go, the van is packed and waiting in the drive ready to go. Just need to clean up the house and tie up a few loose ends then it is off on our big adventure.
