We are now at Mataranka springs and we have just been for a swim in both the bitter springs and the mataranka hot springs,both were beautiful.We are staying at a caravan park about 500 mts from bitter springs and it is lovely,very tropical.We are heading off to Katherine tommorrow for about 4 days so it will be lovely to stop in one place for a while. We are now at Erldundra which is just 200 kms south of Alice Springs.We travelled about 480kms today and we are at the crossroads to uluru and King Canyon. We are now in Coober Pedy and what a strange place it is there are a few houses above ground but there are also many houses built underground.We went into one of the houses and it was really cool down there but you wouldn't want to be claustrophobic. We did a tour of the town this morning which was down by an old miner and it was very funny,it was well worth it as it took you to places you wouldn't dream of going to.There are a lot of aboriginals in the town and...
