We are having a rest day today as we went on a day tour of Litchfiels National Park in the fun bus yesterday and it was a very tiring day,we got to see all the waterfalls and swam in a couple of waterholes but there were a lot of people there doing the same thing and it was very crowded.Litchfield was lovely but like everything up here you have to drive for miles before you get to the next tourist site and there is absolutely nothing in between.Unlike home where ...

Well I guess it is about time I updated our blog, we have been too busy relaxing and getting into holiday mode.We were sad to leave our campsite at Tumbling Waters aqs it was so beautiful but it was time to move on,the caravan park in Darwin in nice but not as nice at the one at Berry Springs.The only negative thing about the last campsite was the mozzies and midgies,Bruce absolutely got bitten all over I was lucky they obviously don't like the taste of my blood...

We are now at Berry Springs only 50kms from Darwin,we are staying in a lovely tropical caravan park called Tumbling Waters caravan park.It is close to Lithchfield national park so we will go off and explore the waterfalls and springs around the park in the next few days.The caravan park has an enclosure in the centre of it with some freshwater crocodiles in it,they are going to feed them tommorrow so we will go and watch that,then they have a didgeridoo lesson th...

We are now at Katherine and have been here for a couple of days,we have been busy relaxing and looking at all the sights.We went to Katherine gorge yesterday (although it is now called Nitmilik)which was fabulous and I took heaps of photos but I have been unable to load them up for some reason(My computer hates me). We are now at Mataranka springs and we have just been for a swim in both the bitter springs and the mataranka hot springs,both were beautiful.We are staying at a caravan park about 500 mts from bitter springs and it is lovely,very tropical.We are heading off to Katherine tommorrow for about 4 days so it will be lovely to stop in one place for a while.
