We are now at Erldundra which is just 200 kms south of Alice Springs. We travelled about 480kms today and we are at the crossroads to uluru and King Canyon.
We are travelling really well the roads are so good and there is hardly any traffic at all just the odd road train going the other way and a few caravans otherwise we have the road to ourselves.
We are now in the Northern Territory we crossed the border about 20km ago and as soon as we passed in to the territory the speed limit said 130km (no way!!) we are just plodding along at about 90-95.
We are staying behind a roadhouse tonight, which is really nice it even has a pool although it is not hot enough for that today.
The price of gas is steadily rising as we go further north,we just paid 113ltr and it is 121ltr here but at least we can get it without any problems.
I forgot to mention that in Coober Pedy they only have a primary school when kids get old enough for high school they have to go to Adelaide or Port Augusta.
We are off to Alice Springs tommorrow for a couple of days of sight seeing,so will catch up soon.
