Greetings from Alice Springs,We are here for a couple of days then we are heading further In acouple of days.Achhhhhh this is the third time I have written this,I somehow keep deleting it which is very frustrating.
Today we went to the school of the air and watched the kids doing their lessons on the air.It was fascinating considering that some of them were as far away as 1600km.They have 119 pupil and they stay with the school until year 9 then they do their schooling by correspondence or go to boarding school.It was really interesting to watch the little ones to watch them do their lessons on the air.
We also went to the Royal Flying Doctors Museum and the Ghan train museum which were both really interesting.We are really looking forward to heading further north as there are some really great things to see coming up.
Alice SZprings is a lovely town but we just didn't feel very safe here,I know it is not politically correct but they really do have a problem here with the indiginous community.
The park here is lovely and they put on a different activity every night,tonight it is a talk on the wildlife,I just hope they dont bring along any snakes of I am out of there!!!.
