The adventure to Laos. So from Chiang Mai we took a bus ride to Chiang Rai. There we stopped at the white temple. Which is by far one of my absolute favorite temples we have seen. The temple was actually created as an art project and is entirely white with mirror mosaic pieces. So I made a blog post all about Chiang Mai and it was great. But then of course it deleted. So Chiang Mai is a beautiful city in Northern Thailand. We had a jammed pack couple of days here. To start we went to the main temple were they were luckily celebrating a Buddhist celebration specific to the city of Chiang Mai. It was this festival where they give offerings to Buda. So yesterday we did a night train, and stopped in Ayutthaya to see some ruins from 1300! They were pretty neat. But it was also so hot. Remember that time people told us this would be monsoon season? They lied. Even the people here laugh that we are traveling in the hot season. Wicked. Tonight I'll make a longer post about more things that have happened over the past couple of days! Hooray!
