Started as a whim, and had some controversy around it...bras being hung and then cut down at night. In public property and slowly became a tourist attraction, locals refused to help remove the bras and in 2015 a local started to maintain it and it became more of an awareness of breast cancer. Apparently there are a few fences in New Zealand...shoe fence, toothbrush fence etc...this was our first!
