Arrived in Perth last nite, flight had tvs so went quickly!

got taxi to the yha hostel on wellington street city centre, which was very nice, clean tidy and quiet!bar downstairs and internet facilities of course!

ok so we took a walk up the city centre and found a place called miss mauds and its a swedish restaurnat, food looked amazing but the guy singing was awful... we are talking playing the keyboard over the cheap tacky keyboard beats that every good keyboard piano has!

so we continued to have a wee walk around and were truly unimpressed by the city centre

ok so dolphin trip had been pushed back to saturday so on friday morning we got up had awonder around perth city centre got breakfast in a small cafe

then got a train to fremantle which immediately was a lovely looking place, had a look at all the opals for sale and then took a walk down the cappocino strip to the market which was lovely but no different from any other market ..

then we done a tour of fremantle prison, very interesting, aboringal inmates had been allowed to paint walls and we seen where they hung the criminals... all pictures to be put up on facebook.

after that we went and got a ferry to rottnest, quokkas, small cat sixed kangaroos where everywhere and very timid like animals

we went on a bike ride around the island but prob only did 45% of the island, seen a sign for poisonous snakes and then there it was sitting in the middle of the road waiting on us.. a brown snake!

got spooked and we took the next road back to the ferry, cold and windy by the time the ferry turned up and so we got on quick.. but missed our stop at fremantle and ended up somewhere else and having to ask for a lift back to fremantle to get the train back to perth by the way i had left my fone on the ferry so it was gonna be sat evening before i would get it back! so off back to perth finally and bed because the day are ruined us! and my bum cheeks were in agony after the bicycle ride!
