27.05.05 Franz Joseph 28.05.05 Today we had been booked on to do a 'glacier walk' which sounded amazing, but there (typically!) had been an avalanche at the start of the walk, so that (& my skydive) were cancelled. Not to be deterred though, Heather and I got a shuttle bus to the bottom of the glacier and did a walk around the base - couldn't get close enough to touch it, but it was still pretty awesome scenery : ) Met up with Sarah & Amy in the bar at our accom. in the evening and had fun dancing to Cotton Eye Joe and The Verve!!
