Today we are heading toward Philadelphia. But the sad thing is, we have to say goodbye to our awesome tour director Marianne after lunch in Philadelphia. She was the nicest, sweetest tour director I've never seen. But sadly, she has something else to do. In Philadelphia, we met our new, one day tour director Jeff. He seemed to know a lot about Philadelphia, and I really started to like this city a lot: not very crowded but at the same time a lot history behind the city. Our first stop is Benjamin Franklin's Grave located besides the Independence Hall. And then we visited the Liberty Bell which was not far away, and then, we entered the Independence Hall. It looked so serious but beautiful at the same time. Well of course, that's where the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution was signed. I learned a lot from Jeff and this city. Philadelphia was one of the most important historical city, and also since lots of historical values were saved from being damaged, it's really like traveling through time to time, which is really magical. After walking around in Philadelphia, we did the best thing ever, shopping... I hated shopping but I got to buy gifts for my family and friends, so I guess I had to walk around try to buy stuff. But I got ice cream instead. After about an hour of shopping time, we got out the mall and went back on the bus. But we went to a local sandwich place for some traditional sandwiches, which tasted really good. And their cookie was so awesome! We didn't really do much in Philadelphia sadly, after eating dinner we were heading toward our hotel near Washington D.C. and after I got to the hotel, I just fell asleep... I was extremely exhausted but well... Few more days to go.
