Apart from a quick trip up Cerro de la Cruz, the last two days have been spent viewing carpets and processions. There is not much to say apart from from it being non-stop, Antigua doesn't really sleep on these two days. People are either making carpets, taking part in processions or watching what is going on. It was a bit brighter this morning and we could see Volcan Agua more clearly while we had our early morning coffee and bread. It was by no means a bluebird day and we were under no illusion that it would not get hazy later in the day. We woke to a foggy morning and unfortunately there were no views of the volcanoes surrounding the city. We knew they were there, we could only just see the ghostly shilouettes sitting in the cloud. The hotel had free coffee and 'bread' in the morning and that made up for the lack of view. It was time to leave La Casa del Mundo and the weather decided to make it a bit easier for us, fog had descended down over the volcanoes hiding the spectacular view. It was a bit colder today too so that final swim in the lake before breakfast was canned in favour of coffee and pancakes.
