Following on from Dave's retirement this December, and inspired by Sarah's travels in New Zealand in 2010, our plans to follow in her footsteps (well almost) have been in the making for some months and now suddenly our departure date is looming! We're about to fly over to Guernsey for some time with the folks over there before leaving the UK on January 10th...eeeeekkkkk....so much to sort out......so little time!

We have a few butterflies but are very excited at the adventures that lie ahead. The new friends we hope to make and the good friends and family that we look forward to spending time with in Australia. We aim to update our blog along the way and hope that you will find it interesting and maybe even comment from time to time so that we know you are thinking of us lol....
