Hi Dave! Just reading your updates on what has been a very interesting travel journal. I loved your China stuff and all the pictures are fantastic. I'm sure many people have, like me, been reading your account and enjoying it passively. Felt finally compelled to post a message with your mention of the olden days of football-watching: doesn't seem like ten years ago does it? Hope you enjoy today's (tonight's?!) game and continue to have a fantastic experience.
All the best,
Bland

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to say thank you for the messages it is really good to hear from you all - so keep them coming.
I am completely upto date with this now apart from some pictures which will shortly follow.
So the Plan is - stay in the fridge (house) until August when Julian arrives and then head up the East Coast with him and Eoin. So far that is the plan! Just saving and chilling out at the moment. The guys in the house are really cool and a great bunch to hang out with.
Wanted to leave my address here just in case anyone wants to send supplies...food, money, cars, cds, computers, Ipods...all would be greatly appreciated...heehee

Well where does the time go, the pics look great even the drunk ones. Back from Scotland now obviously, had a great time the weather wasn't too bad it rained most nights but was ok during the day's, we fished and both caught but nor big enough for a meal so they went back. Thanks for the post cards they where great, looks and sounds like you are having an awsome time. We went down to Cornwall last weekend for couple of days flew down on the Saturday and came back on the Monday, Your mum wasn't wether to be jealous or not as she was going to bon jovi it was a close thing we nearly had an extra passenger. We saw a couple of B&B's that we liked but nothing that rocked our world so will keep looking when we get back from Jeff's only two and a half weeks to go, god only nows how we are going to fit everything in before we get on the plane. the extension is coming along part of the roof has now gone on and oh what joy they will be knocking the kitchen wall out next week, still a good excuse not to go in there and get loads of take away's or eat out, well maybe it isn't so bad if we look at it like that. Off to the House of Commons next week for a meeting and then lunch not sure I like the sound of that probably means more work coming my way, well keep up the pics and I agree with your mum your journal is great you should publish it when you get back 'Around the World with 80 Dave's' Will leave a message before we go off ourselves and will keep you in touch with our trip as much as we can. love you loads take care I & Y
Just Mum
I have just spent 20 mins reading your journals. Dave they really are excellent - very interesting reading, amusing as well. Journalistic tendancies I feel! I am now up to date with everything and looking forward to more piccies (not so many drunk ones please!). I did it! Yes, you've guessed it, my charity cycle ride is now behind me - so nervous but I am amazingly fit for one with so many years behind her!!! Once on my bike I was comfortableand just went with the flow - a tough course tho - lots of hills! Dad would have put a message on but you know what's on?????? The F word and I don't mean the rude one! So much of it nowadays - I feel like committing suicide - you know how I love it? Venice at weekend - seeing Julie from the states, and meeting her new husband. They are having a house built somewhere - I will let you have more details next week when we are home. Hopefully we might even get an invite to go! Nice reading Nat's entry - hello Nat - hope you are happy, you certainly sound it! Well I think that's all for now..........dinner and then ironing - oh so much fun!! Love you

Hey Dave, I have to ask, how big is the 'fridge'? So many people sharing - how many bedrooms? Glad you've cut down your partying to the weekend for the mo, don't think your liver could stand much more constant abuse! Must agree with Dawn - think we have another convert to BJ in Barney. Once again they were mega, just a shame that it wasn't Wembley and you weren't there, still perhaps next time? Nickelback were also very good - think Mum and Caroline were impressed, so they will be coming to see them if they tour again. Still waiting for my next postcard! Take care, Jean.xx
Nat
Still no entry including me! I'm very disappointed in you Dave
Haha just kidding, I just wanted to make my mark on your journal thingy and say Hi to Caroline and Mr and Mrs Betts. Hello! Long time no see! (probably because I have been in a different hemisphere!!) Anyway congrats on the pending nuptials Caroline! I'm heaps excited for you, and jealous!
Take care y'all xx

Mini Wedding Update - Still hunting for the perfect venue! Anyway seen lots of nice places but you know your sister it has to be Perfect. We will keep searching.
That $20 an hour isnt going to get much of an Usher suit !
Can you do me a favour, text or ring your sister and explain to her how to ring you, what numbers to add etc she has tried to text a number of times but cant get it to work.
Anyway keep having fun, and updating this place.
Barns, and Caz xx
Dawn
Hey Aussie Dave! glad to see that you're still enjoying Austrailia to the max, am a bit worried though as you seem to be getting quite philosophical too..... Also wanted to let you know that Bon Jovi on Sunday was wicked, but not quite the same without you. Your mum still managed to dance the night away, i think i might have caught your dad singing and swaying slightly once-but not certain, Caz looked like she was enjoying herself and i am pleased to say that i even caught Barns singing and clapping along once or twice!!! Now that ive brought you up to date keep on having a fab time in Australia, keep the postcards coming and updating the site. xxxx
