Woke up early with a bit of a headache and got on me tour to Nimbin (marihuana capital of australia). Sat next to an Irish girl called Rebecca on the bus and we stopped at a pub for some beers. Early start for me surf lesson. Got picked up and drove to a beach about 15 mins away. Got given a board and some instructions on how to surf whilst on the beach. Then went in the water and give it a go. Was rate good fun but so hard to stand up too. Stood up for a couple of times and went rate far on the waves. Had a break then a couple more hours in the sea. After a rate long night bus from sydney to byron bay, I arrived at the hostel. Couldn't check in till mid day so walked around byron bay which was dead busy because of bluesfest. Went and chilled on the beach which was rate hot. Tried to get into bluesfest for free in the evening but couldn't get in.

Woke up with a sore head and met none other than Andy and rach who came to the hostel to drop their stuff off. Was great to see them. Yeahhhhh friends yeaaahhhh. Walked down to mrs mackenzies chair (viewing point) and lay down for a bit. Then got a maccies and had a nap in the botanical gardens for a few hours. Was rate nice. Got up and sorted out me travel stuff. Minced all day in the hostel. Ended up going out for some beers. Had a lot of goon before so didn't make it out that long and came back early. Was in me room and could tell that the other people were laughing at me cause I was so pissed but couldn't do anything about it. Tried to walk out the room soberly at one point and ended up falling into the wall. Classic.
