Not a lot to say really... Woke, drove, rocks, drove, rocks, drove, desert, rocks, drove, drove, drove, stopped.
I added and subtracted some state parks, giving Canyonlands only a view from a distance and heading for the Natural Bridges park instead. This saved overall time, but increased my driving time, including an amazing decent from the bluff onto the plateau of Monument Valley. Absolutely stunning, and resulting from a move I was forced into by hotel availability near the Grand Canyon. This has also meant I've driven 70 miles beyond the Canyon to Flagstaff.
I now find I'm on a naughty-boys list for uploading too much data through Best Western wifi, so will have to find another means of getting photos to dropbox.
Anyway, the clocks have gone back again, so I'm still waking up at stupid o'clock, admittedly something like 2pm for you in the UK. Should mean I get an early start on the Grand Canyon tomorrow.

Sam You have convinced me not to drive all the way to monument valley as it sounds well boring! Alex will be pleased we can do something else instead.
