Checking out of our hotel this morning and I met Pepper, their interactive robot who asked us if we could find a nice robot wife for him and if we could go to their wedding if they hit it off. The future has arrived!

On the Shinkensen Bullet train to Kyoto!

Ready to gobble down a morning breakfast of sushi at the Tsukiji Fish Market. A 45 minute wait made bearable by having some of the freshest fish I've ever had.

So, we made it into an Izakaya, which is a form of a neighborhood bar that normally locals or regulars frequent. We ate at infamous Memory Lane, also called: Piss Alley. It's not as filthy as it sounds. Amazing place. Narrow alley about 100 yards long with about 60 restaurants/bars that have at most, 10 seats each. Our man in the pic hooked us up with about 12 sticks of yakitori with a variety of grilled meats and veggies, along with a large quantity of saki. Cou...
