Hey everyone,

Our first week has flown by and we're having an amazing time in Auckland. The weather started off as we left it in England...rainy! But has been really lovely and hot the last few days, so we've been doing lots of sunbathing!

Auckland is a beautiful city. We've been up the Sky Tower, to admire some great views, down to the harbour and on a ferry ride to a neighbouring island, Waiheke, to sunbathe on their beautiful beach.

We start our Contiki Explorer Tour on Sunday, where we will do our jumps and skydives! (Danny decided to save his money and do his jump on the tour). Our tour lasts for two weeks and we'll be visiting lots of parts of New Zealand, starting north of Auckland and finishing on the south island in Christchurch, where we will then be staying with friends of Danny's family.
