right big big apologies, yes the last journal update was some four weeks ago i believe - so i will have to attempt to fill you in on our last few weeks in oz so it will probably be scratchy to say the least! so from brisbane we headed to nimbin - possibly the strangest place ever, if you have never been there it is pretty much hippie town where the police have very laxed laws on drugs - everyone is stoned pretty much all the time - don't panic mother it was merely an hours stop off before byron bay. and speaking of byron bay what a place - cheeky monkeys the local pub/club is legendary among back packers - everyone just gets drunk and dances on tables how awesome!!!!! after byron we headed to sydney where we stayed for one night before setting off to melbourne on a twelve hour bus journey the only purpose being the neighbors night - a night where the fans get drunk and meet the stars on our night as you can probably see from the pics we had steph (she is awesome), toadie (legend) and boyd (he is tiny and not stacked as you would expect) - chris asked him what he could press ha ha!!!! and as you have probably seen from my pics also my leg, yet another injury - it began in brisbane as a small spot on my leg the size of a pin p****probably the result of a of wearing socks it has been such good weather flip-flops were there general day to day attire up until then. anyways i think i scratched it and well yeah it got infected and started growing - so i covered it for a few days and tried to forgot about it, it was only when i itched the plaster one day that a load of puss oozed down my leg - at this point i was advised by a pharmacist to see a doc and get on some antibiotics. with a heavy limp now on and under immense peer pressure i went to the hospital about a week later where i was told that it had now developed into an ulcer - i was then informed i had to rest it for two days and take a course of yet more antibiotics and return in a week to get the dressings changed and to make sure the i was on the mend. the resting phase took place in sydney on our return from melbourne which meant in sydney i saw nothing except the hospital - sweet!!!!!chris said the harbor bridge and opera house were great though!!!!
