right apologies for the lack of journal updates - too many hangovers and one cant be expected to type journal entries whilst in a state of shakes and sweats!!!!!!!so what have we done since darwin well we started in cairns (northern tip) and headed down south (currently in brisbane) and the activities principally revolve around a box of goon (a box of wine consisting 4/5litre quantities).so we were in cairns roughly a week and i think we went out every night bar 1 - the world cup had commenced at this point so that was our excuse. the weather was poo and i left half my clothes in a dryer in the hostel when we left - sweet well done danny!!!!!! from cairns we traveled down to mission beach and magnetic island on the oz experience bus - we now term the 's#@t experience' - DON'T ANYONE DO IT!!!!!!!!whilst at mission beach and magnetic island we had a couple of drunken nights and a bit of sea kayaking - all very fun!!!!! from here we went to airlie beach - 'a diving town with a drinking problem" - uh-oh say no more.it was here we went on a Whitsunday's trip, 3 days of sailing on a racing boat it was awesome a great group of people - lots of giggles and lots of goon consumed. then onto 1770 a small town just off of the traditional east coast route, here myself and chris dabbled in a bit of surfing it is so frikin hard i stood up once . we also did a scooter-roo tour, four hour tour of the area on mopeds - mine a mini-harley, chris however decided to opt for an scooter scooter the hairdryers you see roaring around our towns by 12year olds - personally i think the extra pound i paid was justified in the image alone - tight arse!!!!!!!i managed to reach about 85kph, was only about that because i managed to get it of the scale, i was at the back so just hung back for ages then put my foot down - the gimp was upfront - (he wouldn't have any photos of him on his bike - too embarrassed).you will be pleased to know during this time (3days we detoxed - only consuming 6 beers each) from 1770 we mounted the 's#@t experience' again and headed for rainbow beach where we departed for fraser island - and oh my word how awesome without doubt the best time i have had in australia - chipping around in a group of 11 in a 4-wheeled drive on an massive island, no guide just the 11 of you with the island to yourself and a hell of a lot of alcohol (me driving for the most - ha ha ) an unbelievable group a awesome weather made the trip so so so good!!!!!!!!! and so onto brisbane (the current destination) - we had planned to stay only 1 night but myself and chris got so heavily inebriated the night before we missed the bus - i take responsibility i was the chief alarm boy - lets hope we don't miss it again tomorrow - cheeky monkeys and nimbin is calling!!!!!!!! love to all xx
