Danielle -June 27, 2010. Ko Samui

We made it through all the tuk tuks and craziness Bangkok offered and now are traveling down the peninsula, out of the madness, and on to the beautiful islands of Thailand. I will miss all the luxuries of BKK and cannot wait to go back! By the way, all the negatives I have ever heard about that place are all false. That city is on my top favorite five and I cannot wait until I go again.

Only hard part was seeing the children sleeping in the streets or begging on the sidewalks. Absolutely heartbreaking. As far as that goes, everything you hear is true. I will be volunteering with organizations that help these poor kids soon, keep you posted.

Before our volunteering begins, we will be working/writing for a magazine that is providing us with all sorts of adventures

Rock climbing, sky diving (maybe, don't worry mum, I'll be safe) snorkeling, hiking, and waterfall watching are all on our itinerary for the next couple of weeks. I will keep a blog and journal of everything, can't wait to upload some photos!
