After packing up we headed into Francois Peron National Park. The first stop here was the old homestead of the station that was in the area until it became a park in the early 1990's. We visited the Shark Bay Tourist Information Centre in Denham. We were not sure where we'd stay and decided it might be good to set up at the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort as the dolphins were coming in around 7.30am, so it would be easier if we were there rather than drive up from Denham at that time. Before leaving Carnarvon we stopped in at their local Saturday morning market (where I picked up some reading material), had a quick loot at a motocross event and stopped for a look at the OTC dish.
