Wow, it's been a while eh!?! Don't worry, this will be brief as I've only got 2.5wks. I mean, how much trouble can we really get into?

Manchester. Wow, the stupid count really goes up when you hit the M6! Honestly think it was the first time some people went thru airport security! Take yer feckin belt off and empty yer pockets. How hard can it be!?! Then there's the (sorry ladies, but its typically you) ditsy airheads who decide to put themselves together, fill their pockets, sort their bags and check their makeup as soon as their tray comes out. Totally ignorant to the queue of irate folk (OK, me!) trying to do the reasonable thing and lift their tray and move on before causing a pile-up. Honestly, some folk have never heard theory of process management and throughput.

Moving on.

Now, for those unfamiliar to Kim's reading habits, she INHALES them! For this trip Kim decided to get books, from the library! so, not only do they have to be carried the whole way, the two she got might have done her until, the weekend. Maybe. That is if she brought both out of the car!!!! A debate ensued, ereader vs WHSmith. While the logical choice was the former, it seems kim hadnt had enough mental preparation to separate from her beloved tree-pulp companions. At least when she's done we can pass them on, but not before this ate into my eating time. Damo-no-function-food-well-without. So began my first meltdown as they are calling our flight and I'm waiting for the laziest Burger King outfit on the planet to get their arse in gear so I don't have to kill someone. We got our unsatisfying 'meal' in. Just.

And onto the flight. Had a good first one with Qatar. Great films. Watched the first two new Star Treks and I'm now a bona fide Trekkie!! Not much to Doha airport. Bit of people watching before checking into lounge for a Kimbo-special. Yes Lanza-friggin-rote girls, BUFFET!!! But a small one as its 4am here and we need to sleep.

And just so you know, the food has been fine so far and no tummy trouble. That said, no tummy action at all, which can be as concerning. But I'll keep ya all posted!
