Monday 5th May Explored Paris on top of a double decker bus while listening to French music and commentary on the sites. We saw Sacre Coue, and the sunset from the top of the Eiffel Tower and saw the tower light up from the buttom. Spent time watching the artists at work in Place de Terre

Sunday 6th May Spent the day walking our legs off at the amazing Palace of Versailles. Wandered around the spendourous sculptured gardens with French music playing and fountains flowing. We skipped the HUGE queues by doing a guided tour of the Palace which was interesting and the Palace was very grand - POSH Back in Paris we walked along Montmartre, had dinner in a side walk cafe watching the Parissians walking by. A great start to our time in Paris.

Friday 2nd May - Dallas' birthday. Dallas and Eric set off today with Alan to drive to Lands End from Poole to start their ride. They travelled 20kms and are hoping to put in a full day on Saturday 3rd. When they arrived in Poole Dallas and Erice went out for a test ride - 30kms - which went well except Eric broke a wheel with his foot and had to buy a new one.
