Day 10 Fresh from our fantastic tea experience, we decided to opt for some real culture and headed for Yu Yuan Gardens, only to greeted bya security guard who was listening to Sean Kingston's summer hit 'Beautiful Girls'. Me being me, I had to get involved and with the help of Steve, we formed a fabulous trio, serenading passers by. The garden's were very picturesque and with beautiful blue skies, we got some really nice shots. Our next stop was People's Square, which seemed to be crawling with "Students" trying to befriend us, asking if we fancied joining them at a "Tea Ceremony" To be fair to them, some of them were very creative in their attempt, with a group of girls, 1st asking me to take a picture of them and then one with Steve, before even mentioning the ceremony. We'd kinda had enough of Tea (Although if they had milk with their Tea and provided Hob Nob's, I'd quite happily hand over my money) so we headed across the road to the shopping mall.
It may have been chance or god's way of making up for yesterday but we found ourselves staring at a Hershey's store! I didn't need a second initiation and dived straight in to get a smell of that chocolaty goodness. The next 10mins was a tale of extreme will power, and I managed to stay strong, only making one purchase...a 'classic Hershey Hot Chocolate'. When I got to the counter, I was offered a free Hershey Kiss, I asked the guy if I could be cheeky and take a handful, not only did he let me but he gave me a free Hershey Bar! With my calorie levels through the roof, we decided to make our way back to the hostel and spent the evening drinking a couple of beers and shooting some pool.
