Hello Again,
We have been in Malaysia for the last three days. More precisely we have been staying in George Town on the island of Penang. The Malaysian population is very multicultural with large Chinese and Indian communities and George Town is flavoured with strong influences from these. We spent a day looking at old colonial buildings and chinese and hindu temples and mosques as well as exploring Chinatown and Little India.
We visited Penang National Park and trekked through rainforest to the turtle conservation site where we saw baby turtles in a hatchery. We also visited a few beaches in the park including monkey beach before being chased by monkeys on our way out of the jungle. They stole Dales bloody shoes too!! If you see a monkey with a nice pair of Fila trainers on let us know!
Today we visited the butterfly farm, it was so beautiful! There were plenty of brightly coloured butterflies to keep liz happy all day! We also got to see and hold some rather interesting insects and creepie crawlies that looked like leaves! we weren't brave enough to hold the scorpion though!
Can't believe we only have 6 weeks left! Crazy! Time is going too quick! love you all xxxx
