I've very much enjoyed reading your blogs! Lovely work, they were very interesting, sounds like you guys are having a great time. The museums and Smithsonian sound great and so does Futureland. I found the turning into incoming traffic a bit of a worry, but that's all part of the story, right! Poor Uncle Adrian, driving somewhere you don't know is stressful enough without it being in another country on the other side of the road!
You've inspired me to make my own trip to the US sometime!
