Those are mighty fine looking scones. Reminds me of high school, home economics, when they decided there was no point in giving us an education if we couldn't look after ourselves when we left home, so they decided to teach us to cook, but not properly, because there was no time for that, so the theory was they'd just teach us to cook a couple of things and from that we would be able to cook anything. So they taught us to cook scones and poached pears. To this day, I cannot stand the sight of scones or poached pears, much less eat them. Bizarrely, they were also concerned about the population growing heavier, so they also put us through.... some sort of American airforce fitness training? While teaching us to cook scones and poached pears instead of nutritional food. Yep, it was a first class education all right.
