Well today on the Greek Orthodox Calendar was ' The Pentecost '. 50 days after the resurrection of Christ. We attended liturgy and the Patriarch through is 3rd was there. We also got a grand tour of the path Christ walked with the cross to his crusafiction. I also got a real buzz from kneeling in front Christ's tomb.

So we arrived at Egypt via the Israel border. After a long bus drive we arrived at St Katherine Monastery we got our room keys and then coffee at the local cafe.

The climb to the top of Mt Sinai was physically demanding and fun. The views of the high rocky mountains were breathtaking and special.

We left for our long trek up Mt Sinai at 1am so we could see the sun rise and see where Moses received the 10 commandments.
