Hello Everyone! Sorry we have been fairly poor at writing in the blog. No excuse but it takes me (Frankie not Chris) a long time to put photies on, and I guess you would rather see what we are doing. At the moment we are at Crescent Head which is a lovely spot, but shock horror the weather is nasty! Before I tell you all about here I should probably backtrack. After Melbourne we hit the Great Ocean Road and as you can see from the pics it was stunning. I even got to drive some of it after persuading my hubby to let me do so. The views etc were unreal, and seeing the sun set over the 12 Apostles was unforgettable. We spent 3 days touring it and doing the rainforest walks etc so it was a good bit of fresh air and got us fit!
After the GOR we headed up towards Sydney, on route we stopped at Lake Hume for the night, and then Bowral to catch up with some of John and Helen's friends which was nice. We got a free feed which was most appreciated! After that we set off for the Blue Mountains. They were ace we bought a ticket for Scenic World, which was basically a cable car down (the steepest in the world), a railway (vertical) back, also the steepest in the world, and then a cable car with a glass bottom over to the 3 sisters. It was a great way to see all of the best scenic spots. Again as you would see from the album it was beautiful and enabled us to have some great photies to frame when we get back.
After the mountains it was on to Sydney (well Narrabeen) just north. We stayed in a campsite just above which was great because we were not far from our own personal tour guide SUPER LOWE!! Matt was great he took us down to the bridge on one night and we have some great photies thanks to his super flash camera. We also embarked on the bridge climb which was soooo good thanks jos and stevo for that pressie. On the Friday we had a night out in Sydney which was alcohol fuelled and lots of fun with a group of Irish pals we had met when we went on our Uluru camping trip. Oh and before we left SUPER LOWE took us to where they film Home and Away and we surfed Summer Bay how cool is that!!
After Sydney we have started to head up the coast to be with Chris' cousin Emma, hubby Gav and beautiful baby Jack! Emma soooooo looking forward to a propper bed and some home comforts! Yay! We stopped a Pacific Palms for a night and we are now at Crecsent Head. Tom we are going up to Byron Bay which will be great always wanted to go there and hopefully surf!
Must dash as my time is running our on the PC.
Lots of love home hope everyone is ok,
Frankiexxxx
