This is the view from my drive to CCF once I traded vehicles in Otjiwarango. The reason why is that the dirt roads are rougher than most cars can handle, and you must be able to switch from two-wheel to four-wheel drive many times throughout the trip. I was about an hour drive away from the city and into the bush. Namibia is a desert, so you often see places that look like this with sand, bush (that look like trees), very few trees, grasses, and a lot of plants with needles on them (more than just cacti).
