This statue is about two and a half stories tall. There are three others similar to this one, and it serves not only as decoration, but it is a jungle gym for kids to climb, explore, and slide down. All of the play areas seemed to be doll themed, so I am assuming that Hamad International Airport is trying to promote a kid friendly environment (which it does).
