CCF not only has numerous cheetahs, but they have numerous goats as well. They are useful for training our guard dogs how to tend to them. Typically, an 8-week-old puppy is placed with a farmer because this is the age where the puppy bonds with the livestock. Because of this bond and their instinct to protect and be loyal, they will show aggressive behavior towards predators that try to harm any of the livestock. Another purpose for the goats is that they produce milk that is utilized to make cream, ice cream, frosting, soap, and more. These products are sold at CCF and in town to bring in more money for our non-profit organization. Although the Namibian government supports CCF and our commitment, they do not financially support the organization, but everyone loves goat products!
