Hello everyone! Just a little note to say that we've arrived in Phuket Thailand. We are getting settled in for our tropical Christmas with Michaela's father, who was stranded in London due to fog. We're in Phnom Penh for less than 24 hours--just a quick stopover to catch a (relatively) cheap flight into Bangkok. Vietnam was wonderful. We loved the coffee and the food and the laid-back vibe of the parts of the country we saw. Obviously, we were a bit shaken up after the "robbery" in Nha Trang, but it didn't stop us from falling in love with the country. How could you hate a country with such a beautiful climate and delicious milkshakes?!...

We're in Vietnam still and plan on being here until about the 20th. Then we'll start making our way to Phuket ("f*** it" as Peter likes to call it!). The weather here is great, although the ocean is a bit rough because of the typhoons hitting further up the coast. That's partly why I wanted to write--to let you know that we're still okay and we're moving further away from the "danger" areas of Vietnam. No worries about us g...
