A brilliant day spent bamboo rafting and elephant riding! With a gorgeous massuman curry for lunch!

On traveling o our hotel in Chiangmai we stop at tiger kingdom where we pet tigers, BIg tigers! We spend the evening in an awesome bar where a local Thai band who speak no english sing awesome covers of oasis, the killers, the Beatles and Bruno mars. Beers and dancing all round.

Another lazy day rolling on the river, we reach chaingmai Kong cross back into thailand an have a beautiful Penang curry although very hot!

Met the first people off my tour and we headed to Khao San road a famous area for backpackers in Bangkok. First impressions what a busy city! Driving from airport was chaotic, I don't think the highway code is applied here. The taxi's, cars, motorbikes, tuk tuks all just duck and weave around each other cutting each other up however none of the horn beeping or road rage you would see back home in England.
