To make our way back to Thailand we take a long boat down the river Mekong delta this is also a slow boat an ill take 2 days we spend the night with a local village an are only the 2nd group of westerner e to ever stay here! We are greeted by the village elders who bless us by tying strings around our wrists (which I am still wearing whilst writing this in June) this was a truly humbling experience seeing the simplicity in which the village people live but also the happiness and sense of community spirit. Limited sleep due to very basic coco donation and rats! Yuk!
