Secondly, Katie, I have some 21 year old insect repellant which has gone off, and, consequently, has about 5 times the repelling power of normal repellnat, unfortunately it's in blighty - you're more than welcome to it when you get back?......In December?.......When even if we did have Mosquitos they wouldn't be around anyway?.....Curses!! Tough luck lady.

Thirdly, would you stop complaining about the bleeting weather! We had about 4 feet of rainfall in 3 hours in France during one of my games of golf - I still felt lucky at the time, just to be able to still see grass!....Gordon bennett!

Mort, we do both have telephones, however mine is broken which flaws the plan somewhat. I'm good thanks, a bit busy but no change there! I'm up for sometime early next month if you're free? Bank holiday weekend?

Katie, this message is directed at you. I am so pleased when reading your blogs, that food only comes up the normal amount that you would expect in a blog! Not on every line like it seems to be in Nicholas's...Mcdonalds, Curry, Mcdonalds, Curry, Pizza Hut, High Tea blah blah blah. Keep up the good work! xx

Nicholas, this is a message directed at you. Just got to the end of your set of photos and have an image in my head of whoever was taking a photo of you at the top of the hill, nabbing off with your camera. Then you chasing after him down the 420 steps, finally getting to the bottom and realising you are on an island and a both stuck in this monotonous Benny Hill-esque chase...Just thought I would share. wow two blogs in one day! you are certainly making good use of the new toy! the photos are very good,glad to see you are looking after gloria & the skipper, by the size of the knife and fork it must have been a helluva pizza! we are building quite a scrap book, it will be good to look back on when you eventually get back. speak soon xx
