G'day thrillseekers, Do we detect a note of disappointment that you have only one ride left? Maybe in your case Anna a sigh of relief! I reckon I'd be scared belting down a goat track in the Swiss Alps on my pushbike!Perhaps you could pack the bikes (or hire bikes)onto a luxury narrow boat for a relaxing cruise on Europes waterways. The speed limit on the canals is less than 8kph! From the moorings explore the countryside and visit local villages on your bikes. How romantic.Just extend your stay. You can do it!!! Seona is somewhere in the middle of France catching up with Scott on his annual European training&competition schedule. Enjoy! Cheers!

Hi Anna and David, looks like you are having an amazing adventure! I can't believe you have already been away for 3 weeks. While you have been riding all over the country side we have been working hard on our house- you won't recognise it when you come over to show us all your fantastic photos! One thing, do you think you could stay away until the end of September? Crows havn't lost a game since you left the country :-)
Natasha
Hi Anna & David
The photos are fantastic. Your holiday seems to be moving at a great pace. I can't believe how far you have already ridden. Thinking of you both and glad to see that your trip is turning out to be everything you wished for. See you soon. Love N

6 in a row and one of those rare games when I wasn't chewing my fingernails for the entire 2 hours! Pretty much cruised it with the only downer that we squandered a 46 point lead at the start of the final quarter to only win by 17. Percentage still feeble therefore, but now 5th as Brisbane lost to P*rt. Freo at home next week, so should be win No. 7 you'd think. I'm away in Noosa so won't be able to provide an update - hopefully Kathy will do the honours ;)
After that it's an easy 3 weeks - St Kilda away (beat Geelong last night by 6 pts in an epic), The Showdown and then Geelong away.....
Great pics - Weird to see you in Morzine & Les Gets cycling. I used to Snowboard there. Keep having fun!

G'day Anna & David thanks this is a great way to follow your trip.Enjoyed the photos. The scenery in the Alps reminds me of a holiday in Lauterbrunnen which is just south of Interlaken in Scheiz. We stayed in a beautfl camping park surrounded by spectacular alpine views and rode the little train and hiked Jungfrau.A region of great beauty! Still have the detailed Michelin road maps including Italia so can follow your every move-BIG BROTHER is watching! Cheers.

Hi everyone, thanks for your great messages, its nice to here back from you guys. Today was a rest day and we went for a day trip to Annecy. A beautiful town with lots of canals and a very picturesque lake which is where the time trials for the Tour De France will be held. It is so hard to describe all the beauty.
The riding has been excellent with some amazing views but also very scary in some sections for me .... I will never be afraid of riding Fox Creek or Eagle Park again!!!
Yesterday David rode the Swiss National Downhill Track ..... very brave i think ....... We spent a fair amount of our time on the swiss side of the alps and loved every minute of it. Anyway its beer time so bye for now and we will update some photos again soon (with us in the photos :-)

Hi Guys!! Glad to see you're having a great time! Love the awesome cycling pics. We're with Desley and James.... When we saw the Geneva photos bit disappointed had to wait til the last pic to see you guys!!! All is well over here... bit cold so enjoy summer. Sandro and the boys have gone to Stansbury tonight but won't be able to fish as there's strong wind warnings... apparently there's been good KG Whiting catches but of course (!) not for us!!! We're waiting for you guys to come home and show us how it's done!!! he he he.
Collingwood just beat Essendon by 35 points and now have a winning streak of 6 and maintain being in the top 4.... Dammit!!! Crows play Richmond tomorrow night in the Gold Coast.... I'll leave it to Paul R-J to fill you in on the outcome!
Talk soon, Hugs Kathy xxx
