At the gate and ready to board. I had a bit of trouble with my luggage though. You could only have 23kg and I had 26kg!! So that set me off into tears as I was already getting emotional for leaving family and friends for 5 months. I had to take out my coconut shampoo and conditioner (noooo).

Then it was the sad goodbyes to my family. Surprisingly I was the one who was getting The most emotional (not mum) and then I was by myself with the 3 other girls who are travelling to Italy with me.

Our flight got delayed 40 minutes though (ahhhh) but all was good. Less time waiting over in Abu Dhabi.
