Well, it's been ages since my last update! We arrived at the Higgs on the night of Friday the 6th (almost two weeks ago!) and settled in. It was such a relief to finally arrive and have the travel behind us! We needed to get to Seattle that night, which was a 12hour drive, and we needed to get there so we could have a few hours to catch up with Julie and Jason, Jonathan's other brother, in the morning. Tuesday, December 3rd: We hit the road! We headed North for Canada, a trip we were spreading over the rest of the working week. Thursday was American Thanksgiving, and Carl and Jonathan's mom turned the internet off J ood idea!! We arrived at Los Angeles International airport Tuesday morning at 7am local time. Fortunately it wasn't earlier, as customs don't open until then, and for us, the less waiting time the better with the kids. We got lots of nice treatment across the airlines seeing there were 5 of us, and in all the customs/security lines with prams.
