Day 11 - Leaky Napier Not only did we have a disappointing toilet incident when we arrived, but the bloody thing then leaked. Fortunately only number 1's but still, yikes, yuck, yeugh. Day 10 - Wellington We woke up in Wellington to beautiful blue skies and it felt like a good day. We timed the run to the showers perfectly well, giving those waiting a wry smile as we exited. We had our daily fix of granola, tidied up Kylie and hit the road, heading for the city. Day 9 - down time Having had a pretty busy few days, we took the opportunity on Thursday for some down time. With no fixed plans, having once more survived a freedom camping night, we moseyed on into Whanganui and then south along the highway en route to Wellington. Day 8 - Rafting Adventures We woke early, bladders bursting, and decided to get up and make the most of the day ahead. We had rafting booked in at 2.00pm so had the morning to utilise. Day 6 - The R. Tucker Thompson Today our first planned activity was due and we were both nervously excited for what lay ahead. We had an early start and our planned 7:00 wake up for a HIIT workout was a massive boo boo...we both slept to 7:30 so our allotted 30 slot for exercise was well and truly missed...such a shame!
